Our Treatment Philosophy

Inherent in the treatment philosophy of Transitional Services Association, Inc., is the idea that every client should be treated as a unique individual who is entitled to responsible, effective, respectful, and humane care, and that the dignity of the individual must be respected at all times. Recovery from mental illness and/or chemical addiction can only occur in a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. Clients are encouraged to participate in the development and implementation of their own treatment plans to the fullest extent possible, and that integral to the acceptance of empowerment is the acceptance of self-responsibility.
